TAC Supports Full Line of Feature-Rich Products for TAC I/A Series
BOSTON – April 30, 2007 – TAC, a world leader in building automation, security systems and energy solutions, announces the integration of its TAC I/A Series® building management system with Continuum™ security management. This innovative offering unites two proven product lines to provide a complete security and building management solution.
The Continuum security management system supports an extensive range of security and access devices for comprehensive access control; user and card administration; and powerful event and alarm management. The CyberStation™ security workstation provides dynamic views of critical information and has advanced administration and reporting features. With web.Client™, operators have the freedom to access the system from anywhere on their network or over the Internet. Leading-edge digital video management is also available.
“When TAC acquired the TAC I/A Series product line last year, a strategic priority was to provide the existing customer base and sales channel with access to the breadth of product offerings that exist within the entire TAC organization,” said Ralph Box, director of product management for the TAC I/A Series. “Of particular interest has been the wide range of security and access control products available. For the first time with the TAC I/A Series, we will be able to offer internally designed, manufactured and supported products that are feature-rich and extremely competitive in the security market.”
