Frontline Exchange2014 series will bring together building experts to
share information and help Schneider Electric partners expand their
skills to realize new building modernization opportunities
DALLAS – May 29, 2014 – Schneider Electric, a global specialist in
energy management, today announced a series of training events for
partners and employees that will arm them with practical tools,
strategies and best practices for implementing the SmartStruxure
Building Management System (BMS) and helping customers modernize
their building infrastructure. Schneider Electric’s Frontline
Exchange2014 events are taking place in cities throughout the U.S. in
June and July 2014.
The potential to reduce energy consumption in existing and new
commercial buildings is enormous. Today’s buildings represent about 40
percent of the world’s energy consumption on average. Even more, 30
percent of the energy used in commercial buildings is wasted, resulting
in soaring utility costs. By modernizing building management systems
through a phased approach that avoids a “rip out and replace” model,
building owners can realize the benefits of the latest BMS technology
with limited investment, minimal downtime and peace of mind that their
building will be supported every step of the way.
By attending a free Frontline Exchange2014 event, attendees will have
access to over 15 technical and business focused sessions that will
enable them to help customers modernize their facilities through a
phased approach to Schneider Electric’s SmartStruxure solution.
SmartStruxure maximizes building efficiency and reduces operating costs
across the entire lifecycle of a facility by integrating customized
hardware, software, engineering, installation and services to ensure
customers’ facilities are energy-efficient and effectively managed.
Registration is currently open for the following Frontline Exchange2014 events:
• June 10-11: Doubletree Hotel Brownstone, Raleigh, NC
• June 12-13: Marriott Dallas Quorum, Dallas, TX
• June 17-18: Hilton Rosemont Hotel, Chicago, IL
• June 19-20: Schneider Electric Tech Center, St Louis, MO
• June 24-25: Wyndham Andover Hotel, Andover, MA
• June 26-27: Baltimore Marriott Waterfront, Baltimore, MA
• July 14-15: Hilton San Fran Financial District, San Francisco, CA

“Today’s building managers are faced with the challenge of integrating
“old” and “new” systems in their facility to achieve maximum efficiency
at minimal cost and with limited disruption to daily operations,” said
Jim Sandelin, Senior Vice President, Buildings Business, Schneider
Electric. “We are pleased to be offering these trainings to help our
partners and employees develop critical skills for transitioning legacy
systems and implementing modern BMS solutions that will ultimately help
facility leaders save energy, reduce costs and optimize their
facilities to ensure long-term viability.”
