Tridonic Demonstrates IoT System for Connected Lighting at Lightfair International 2017

DORNBIRN, Austria, May 4, 2017--Tridonic, a leading global provider of smart and efficient lighting solutions, today announced that it will be demonstrating for the first time in North America its IP-based, net4more toolkit utilizing IP-based technology that enables open, flexible and scalable connected lighting networks, at its booth at Lightfair International (LFI) 2017.

The European headquartered company sees the future of solid-state lighting (SSL) as the perfect basis for the Internet of Things (IoT) networks that will create connected buildings, connected commerce and connected cities. Tridonic will also demonstrate its DC-String track lighting system - 48 DC-String - with which miniaturization of luminaires and tracks can be achieved. Visitors can view through an Augmented Reality demo how the technology works. The lighting technology company will also exhibit its special color LED modules for spot and downlight applications, and its highly efficient LED modules for general area lighting as well as the corresponding drivers.

Tridonic's recent entrance into the North American market has helped to simplify luminaire product design and development for its North America-based customers. For customers that are members of the EnabLED Licensing Program for LED Luminaires, Tridonic (as part of the Zumtobel Group) is one of the three "Qualified Suppliers" of LED Light Engines and LED Drivers, providing an additional source to the North American lighting industry.
