At booth #836, technology provider EnOcean will be demonstrating its comprehensive wireless Easyfit LED trols portfolio for intelligent lighting control using EnOcean radio standard for North America.

EnOcean will also be presenting its wireless and self-powered Easyfit switches for lighting systems from Casambi and Xicato using Bluetooth Low Energy.

The Easyfit products complement EnOceanīs module business, offered under the Dolphin brand.

Salt Lake City, UT/Philadelphia, PA – May 9, 2017 – At Lightfair 2017 (Philadelphia, May 9-11, 2017), EnOcean, world leader in energy harvesting wireless technology, will present its comprehensive wireless and self-powered LED controls for various open standards under the brand Easyfit. Easyfit products are self-powered switches and sensors that use wireless standards such as EnOcean, zigbee and Bluetooth Low Energy to make LED lighting solutions more energy-efficient, more flexible and lower in cost. At booth #836, visitors can experience lighting systems using the EnOcean radio standard, including self-powered sensors and switches, actuators, LED fixture controllers as well as a commissioning tool. Additionally, together with its system partners Casambi and Xicato, EnOcean will be presenting wireless and self-powered Easyfit switches for Bluetooth lighting systems. Offering these maintenance-free, ready-to-use solutions, EnOcean’s OEM customers are able to focus on the quickly evolving LED market opportunities.

Comprehensive wireless controls portfolio for EnOcean lighting systems
EnOcean wireless technology is optimized for ultra-low power communication, allowing for the self-powered sensors and switches. EnOcean’s Easyfit LED controls portfolio is based on the 902 MHz frequency, which delivers maximum point-to-point communication distances within buildings. These wireless control solutions can be easily added to existing buildings during an upgrade to LED lighting and enable sophisticated lighting control including daylight harvesting and task tuning.

The complete LED control portfolio consists of LEDRU and LEDDU Fixture/Zone Controllers, self-powered, wireless light switches, occupancy and light level sensors as well as the Navigan™ remote commissioning software. These solutions enable simple configuration, intelligent local control, and seamless integration with building automation systems using the EnOcean wireless standard. Controls and Lighting manufacturers can also create EnOcean-enabled products by using the extensive line of Dolphin by EnOcean RF modules and EnOcean-enabled LED drivers.

These wireless and self-powered solutions help to make LED lighting solutions more energy-efficient and lower in cost therefore enabling lighting installers a fast and flexible installation.

Remote set-up and commissioning
The Easyfit product line is supported by Navigan™ Software. Via this commissioning interface, settings such as thresholds, dimming levels, ramp speeds, task tuning, timers or Title 24-compliant parameters can be changed wirelessly. Employing a Windows-based laptop equipped with the remote commissioning tool, an installer can locate wireless devices throughout the facility, logically connect the controller to switches and sensors, and configure settings in the controller over the air – completely without physical access to the controllers, saving time and costs.

More information on Navigan™ can be found at http://www.navigan.com/. Installers can find tutorial videos showing the tool’s functionalities at http://www.navigan.com/support/.

Wireless LED controls for Bluetooth lighting systems
EnOcean also offers wireless and self-powered LED controls for Bluetooth lighting control systems in 2.4 GHz. The Easyfit Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) switches are available in two different design versions – Easyfit US design (ESRPB/EDRPB) and Easyfit European design (EWSSB/EWSDB). The self-powered and wireless Easyfit switches with Near Field Communication (NFC) allow simple or complex lighting scenes and effects, and enable simple, flexible installation of lighting applications. The wireless Easyfit switches are maintenance-free due to no batteries, freely positionable and allow flexible control as well as intuitive usage.

Easyfit BLE switches are supported by Casambi (booth #5606) and Xicato offering self-powered lighting solutions for Bluetooth Low Energy systems in 2.4 GHz.
