WOBURN, MA – May 23, 2017 - PcVue Inc.
and Sentryo S.A. announce the availability of ICS CyberVision for
advanced cybersecurity protection of PcVue SCADA (supervisory control
and data acquisition), HMI (human machine Interface) and BMS (building
management system) applications. The global partnership brings OT
(operational technology) focused monitoring and cyber threat detection
for ICS (industrial control systems). The innovative technology
fosters OT & IT collaboration for enterprise-wide protection of
critical infrastructures such as power generation and distribution,
water and wastewater, transportation systems and infrastructure like
trains, bridges and tunnels, intelligent building management,
manufacturing, oil and gas, and other applications that rely on high
availability industrial automation.
The 100% passive “flight recorder”
technology alerts malicious behaviors, untracked changes in controllers
and unexpected communication flows. Sentryo’s completely passive
sensors automatically provide a full OT asset inventory and flow
mapping, while providing configuration tracking and identifying
weaknesses and vulnerabilities. The increased availability and
resilience of ICS CyberVision protected control networks reduces the
risk of undetected cyber threats to equipment, thereby increasing
protection of assets and human and environment safety.
The increasing use of targeted cyber-attacks for malicious intent presents new challenges to industrial corporations. The adoption of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) further increases the attack surface of OT systems. Thierry Rouquet, Sentryo’s CEO, commented, “IT and OT and IIoT are a fast changing, converging environment. We are pleased to work with PcVue to increase the visibility, integrity and security of their customers’ industrial control systems.” Edward Nugent, COO of PcVue Inc. added “We are committed to collaboration with our customers for deployment of secure SCADA and BMS projects. The partnership with Sentryo is a critical component of the four pillars of cyber security that guide us in working with them to identify, protect, detect and react to cyber threats to their PcVue-based SCADA and BMS control systems.”
