Distech Controls Introduces HORYZON Display

IP-based, high resolution color LCD touchscreen

[Brossard, QC, November 24, 2015] – Distech Controls, an innovation leader in energy management solutions, today introduced HORYZON, an IP-based, high resolution color LCD touchscreen display. For mechanical rooms to building applications, the HORYZON display is available in three rugged, contemporary models for wall or panel mounting.

This touchscreen display brings IP-connectivity within the building automation sector to the next level, to that of user interfaces. With the increased speed and performance of IP, it empowers users with the ability to view, edit and configure operating parameters of an HVAC system. Color-coded icons allow for an at-a-glance indication of alarms and override conditions.

The HORYZON display’s automatically generated interface means that no additional configuration or development is required. It is preloaded with a visual interface that connects directly to the company’s ECLYPSE™ Connected System Controller, IP and Wi-Fi product series, and EC-NetAX web-based multi-protocol building automation and energy management platform, powered by the NiagaraAX Framework.
