I am writing a few lines to ask your support for disseminating and contributing to the EU H2020 project AGILE (www.agile-iot.eu), building an open-source interoperable gateway for IoT. We have just launched a Kickstarter campaign https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1617444543/agile-the-iot-gateway-of-the-future.

After closing a successful round of Open Call submissions (by the way, stay tuned if interested as we will have a second round and Open Call #2 in few months time), we are now in the process of enlarging the community of AGILE developers / users with the above-mentioned crowdfunding campaign. As you will see the goal has been set very low as this is not a “profit-oriented” campaign but rather an effort to enlarge the community of AGILE developers beyond current Partners in the project; developed code to easily transform your Raspberry Pi in an Interoperable, Modular and Flexible IoT gateway is available from Github https://github.com/Agile-IoT; it will also be soon released through Eclipse codename “AGAIL" (stay tuned on https://projects.eclipse.org/projects/iot.agail).

To know more about the gateway itself and about the campaign, please take also a look at the post and related (short but cute ;-) video here: http://agile-iot.eu/crowdfunding-make-it-fast-and-easy-make-it-agile/

You are more than welcome to pledge for some of the cool hardware being produced or you can simply help, if you think it is a worthwhile initiative, by disseminating to your contacts or simply tweeting about it…here some further links to help you in that process.

Thank you very much in advance for your help. Feel free to drop me a line should you need further info about the project and/or are willing to engage with us in some way.

Best Regards

contemporary Raffaele
