BUFFALO GROVE, Ill., Oct. 1, 2010 – The Building
Technologies Division of Siemens Industry, Inc. announced today it has signed an
agreement to acquire Site Controls, LLC, the Austin, Texas-based provider of
enterprise-wide energy management solutions for multi-site commercial
businesses. Terms of the acquisition are not disclosed and closing is subject to
U.S. antitrust review and approval.
Site Controls’ energy management platform, Site-Command™, integrates hardware

Siemens Building Technologies combined with the Energy Sector will accelerate
our growth in the fast expanding Smart Consumption/Smart Grid market.”
“We are proud of the efforts of our team which built Site Controls into a
technology leader and are thrilled to be joining forces with Siemens, a
