ISA Building Automation Systems Technical Interest Group and Automation Week
Mobile, AL Oct 10 to Oct 20
Automation Week is fast approaching and we have three sessions that week that should be of significant interest to the Group.
On Saturday, October 15 at 11:00am the group will meet to discuss marketing, research, and a symposium for 2012. We will setup a call for papers and discuss what content we want to highlight. Venues will be discussed as well.
On Monday, October 17 at 2:30pm will be the kickoff meeting for ISA 111 Unified Functionality for Building Automation. This should be an exciting meeting where direction will be set for the structure of the standard. If you did not get a notice of the call for members please contact crobinson@isa.org to request an invite. Charley will be making sure we meet all the ANSI rules so please work through him. We have a few organizations that are associating with this standard, and even some who have offered to co-sponsor the standard. We would like to extend that invitation to every technology organization who plays in this space, so if you have contacts at similar organizations please pass along this notice.
[an error occurred while processing this directive] On Thursday, October 20 at 1:30pm will be a continuing education course as part of Automation Week presented as a panel discussion with a group of industry experts who will cover the industry from their perspective. We have a good cross section from consultants, integrators, IT, and government. We will cover existing standards, best practices, challenges, and remarkable solutions to common problems.
