RICHMOND, VIRGINIA, October 12, 2011, Tridium, the global leader in open software frameworks, application platforms and device-to-enterprise integration solutions announced today that it has been named to Connected World Magazine's 2012 CW 100. Tridium's software frameworks and applications have fundamentally changed the way devices and systems connect, integrate and interoperate with each other and the enterprise.
The
2012 CW 100 is a list of the most innovative providers of
machine-to-machine (M2M) technology. This represents the 8th
consecutive year Tridium has been recognized. Companies selected by the
Connected World editors for inclusion on the CW 100 are chosen from
hundreds of firms. Criteria considered by the editors include: sales
and earnings growth, contribution to the connected-devices space, and
innovation in multiple markets served during the past year. The
resulting list is comprised of companies that have a clear vision for
M2M and connected devices, and are doing the most to drive the industry
forward.
"The
2012 CW 100 gives us a look at which companies are helping to bring the
most sought-after devices to the world," says Mike Carrozzo, chief
editor, Connected World. "Whether they are developing business
solutions or consumer products, these companies are really pushing the
envelope regarding what is possible with M2M technology."
"We are extremely excited to once again be recognized by the editors of Connected World", said Marc Petock, Vice President of Global Marketing and Communications for Tridium. "This recognition acknowledges our commitment to technology innovation and the importance of developing new ways to make it easier to connect devices across multiple industry segments within the M2M space."
