The TopView Mobile Web App provides access to TopView alarms and values from mobile devices.

EAST ROCHESTER, New York, September 20, 2012 ‐ Exele Information Systems, an industry leader in alarm management, notification and remote monitoring software has announced major enhancements to their TopView® software suite with the release of TopView 6.14 and the TopViewMobile Web App.

The TopView Mobile Web App provides access to TopView alarms and all monitored data values from mobile devices. Support for any platform with a modern browser allows phone, tablet, and desktopaccess to your tag data and alarms.

With the TopView Mobile Web App, users can monitor alarms and data values, acknowledge alarms, filter by alarm category, and even examine tag details.

The TopView Mobile Web App runs within the mobile browser but appears and operates like an installed mobile application. Because it targets the mobile browser, there is no app to install on each device. And because the app is not specific to the device, it will work on most modern mobile devicesincluding Apple iOS (iPhone, iPad), Google Android, Microsoft Windows Phone, and Blackberry.

“With no external web server configuration and nothing to install on client devices, a user can be up and running in less than 5 minutes” said Mike Fishman, Exele VP. “This brings remote monitoring and remote alarm acknowledgement to almost any mobile device with very little setup time and minimalinfrastructure requirements.”
