Distech Controls is pleased to announce that Ralph Lammers has been appointed Business Development Manager Northern & Eastern Europe to consolidate Distech Controls’ continued expansion across Europe and especially in the UK.

Having worked for more than 20 years within the building technologies sector, Ralph Lammers has a broad experience especially in Building Automation and Energy Control Systems. Ralph served Anglo/American and European companies in EMEA markets and provided cross border expertise. His multilingual roles included several years as European Sales Manager for Cylon Controls (HQ Dublin), followed by being Key Account Manager EMEA for Echelon (HQ Silicon Valley). Prior to moving to Distech Controls, Ralph developed the mainland business strategy for a Cambridge based LED lighting control start-up.

“Distech Controls is skillfully internationalising its business by adapting its global product range for local requirements and has an excellent level of in-house R&D and application expertise,” says Ralph.  “I am glad having joined a team which is really international minded and which provides outstanding support in multiple languages across borders.”

Chris Irwin, who has spearheaded Distech Controls’ growth in the UK as its Business Development Manager Northern & Eastern Europe, will be leaving the company on 11 November, to take on another senior role with a UK energy management business.
