AMSTERDAM - October 21, 2014 - Broadband
World Forum 2014 - The HomePlug® Alliance (www.homeplug.org), the
worldwide industry group for powerline communications networking,
announced it is demonstrating multi-vendor interoperability of next
generation HomePlug AV2 technology at this week's Broadband World
Forum, October 21-23 at the Amsterdam RAI.
HomePlug technology is an ideal solution for distribution of broadband
applications such as Internet, OTT video, multi-room IPTV, online
gaming, audio, as well as smart home applications. With HomePlug AV2,
gigabit-class speeds enable the best coverage and performance in home
networking.
Other HomePlug demonstrations at Broadband World Forum include an nVoy™
interoperability demonstration for hybrid home networking based on the
IEEE Standard 1905.1 with HomePlug and Wi-Fi mobile connectivity, and
embedded HomePlug technology in security cameras.

increasingly bandwidth-intensive applications running on those devices,
service providers and consumers are increasingly utilizing HomePlug
products to support high-speed and high-capacity whole-home networks,”
said Rob Ranck, President of the HomePlug Alliance. “HomePlug is
pleased to invite guests to our meeting room at Broadband World Forum
to experience our latest home networking technology demonstrations.”
