New Paris, Indiana - October 1, 2015 - KMC Controls, a leader in building automation systems, today announced the release of its new KMC Connect Lite™ (patent pending) mobile application. The app, available for Android (iOS and Windows Mobile coming soon), allows for fast, simplified configuration of KMC Conquest™ controllers via Near Field Communication (NFC) technology - without the need for specialized PC-based software.

The release of the app coincides with KMC's launch of its new Conquest™ line of BACnet® direct digital controllers and appliances designed to connect building automation systems to the Internet of Things (IoT). The new suite of products provides system integrators and building owners with open, secure, and scalable building automation solutions from a single building to enterprise-level installations. 

Key time-saving features of KMC Connect Lite include:

Controller configuration from any NFC- enabled device: phone, tablet, or PC. An optional Bluetooth-to-NFC fob is available for devices where an embedded NFC chip is not available.

Configuration of unpowered Conquest controllers.

Configuration of Conquest devices without removing them from their factory packaging.

An intuitive, simple-to-navigate user interface allows the user to quickly and easily set parameters in the target controller. Auto-Increment and Duplicate features allow the user to reuse settings across multiple controllers. The History feature can be used as an audit trail, and can be emailed from within the app.
