The global specialist in energy management was rated as a leader for its StruxureWare™ Resource Advisor platform
Louisville, KY. – October 7, 2015 – Schneider Electric, a global
specialist in energy management, today announced that independent
analyst firm Verdantix has named the company a leader in its 2015 Green
Quadrant® Building Energy Management Software report. This is the
second year in a row that Schneider Electric has been identified as a
leader in the report.
The strong showing was a result of Verdantix’s review of Schneider
Electric’s energy management and sustainability platform,
StruxureWare™ Resource Advisor. Resource Advisor was again rated
best-in-class for its strength in the categories of carbon reporting
functionality, energy procurement, risk management, and utility bill
management. Resource Advisor made significant advancements in the area
of real-time data analytics due to its Performance Analytics suite of
functionality that was introduced earlier this year.
Resource Advisor is Schneider Electric’s cloud-based, comprehensive
Software-as-a-Service platform, that increases collaboration,
efficiency, and transparency with a single software system. Resource
Advisor can be used by the client, or as a means to enable remote
energy and sustainability management. For companies in need of
expertise or simply additional bandwidth, Schneider Electric energy
experts can also provide remote analysis capabilities to identify new
opportunities for efficiency or to amplify existing in-house expertise.
Resource Advisor’s Performance Analytics provides a “shop floor to top
floor” view of consumption-related data streams allowing users to view,
interact with, and analyze all their near real-time facility data in a
single platform.
The Green Quadrant report combines benchmark data from 27 suppliers,
responses to a 130-point questionnaire and interviews with an
independent panel of 17 customers across seven industries, who have
bought or are planning to buy building energy management software.
