AHR EXPO 2001 RECEIVES NEW ENDORSEMENTS FROM 14 INDUSTRY ASSOCIATIONS

Westport, CT -- Reinforcing AHR EXPO's reputation as the leading HVAC&R industry event, 14 associations representing a broad and diverse cross-section of industry professionals have recently signed on as new "endorsing associations" for AHR EXPO 2001, January 29-31 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.

In addition to long-time co-sponsors American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and the Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute (ARI), and honorary sponsor Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Institute of Canada (HRAI), the following 14 associations are now partnering with the Exposition for the first time: AABC (Associated Air Balance Council), ACCA (Air Conditioning Contractors of America), AMCA (Air Movement & Control Association), ARWI (Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Wholesalers International), CTI (Cooling Technology Institute, formerly Cooling Tower Institute), GAMA (Gas Appliance Manufacturers Association), MCAA (Mechanical Contractors Association of America, Inc.), MSCA (Mechanical Service Contractors Association), NADCA (National Air Duct Cleaners Association), NAFA (National Air Filtration Association), NHRAW (North American Heating and Air Conditioning Wholesalers Association), RPA (Radiant Panel Association), RETA (Refrigerating Engineers & Technicians Association), RSES (Refrigeration Service Engineers Society).

As part of their ongoing commitment to keeping members updated about new industry trends, these associations will use AHR EXPO as a highly focused educational/ informational venue. The Exposition will provide these association members with an opportunity to see the latest products and practical solutions for residential, commercial, institutional and industrial applications, as well as hone their individual skills through numerous seminars. Several endorsing associations will also host informational booths on the exhibit floor, and hold various association meetings during the three-day event.

As the largest and most comprehensive exposition in the HVAC&R industry, AHR EXPO will attract thousands of attendees from all facets of the industry, including contractors, engineers, dealers, distributors, wholesalers, OEM's, architects and builders, industrial plant operators, facility managers, agents and representatives.


ATLANTA WELCOMES 2001 AHR EXPO

Westport, CT - Keeping with the long-standing tradition of moving AHR EXPO to different geographical areas around the country every year, International Exposition Company announced that the 2001 Exposition will be held at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, January 29-31. This marks the first time in five years that the industry-leading event will be held in the Southeast, dating back to the sold-out 1996 show in Atlanta.
