Atlanta, Georgia - LonWorld™ 2002, the world's largest Conference and trade show focused on LonWorks® network technology proudly announced today that Mr. Shirou Yokata, Managing Director of Information Systems Division, Fuji Electric Co., Ltd will serve as a keynote speaker for the two-day event that opens October 31, 2002 at the National Trade Center in Toronto Canada.
LonWorld™ 2002 is expected to attract over 80 vendors demonstrating a variety of products and services and 1,000 attendees such as business owners, OEMS, integrators, facility managers and architects who will come to LonWorld™ to discuss applications of LonWorks® networks in industrial, transportation, building automation and other industries.
Shirou Yokata, will present - " Integrated Facility Solutions - Unified Data Solutions in the Industrial Market." Industrial facilities have employed separate data networks with a high level of vertical differentiation, such as ERP, CRM and SCM, but are not interlinked. Industrial facilities lack an integrated flow of information and thus their operations are ineffective. Shirou Yokata will be presenting a system that connects various operations of industrial facilities, to include: manufacturing operations, environmental control systems, building automation systems and inventory control systems.
