Medfield, MA. September 10, 2009 – Comark Corporation, a leader in the design and manufacture of life-safety rated computer and display solutions for the building automation market, announced today that it has received UL864 9th Edition Recognition for its 42” LCD product with the successful completion of all required tests. The UL864 9th Edition specification is an NFPA requirement for equipment installed in life safety applications, such as fire alarms, smoke control and mass notification. Testing was carried out by Underwriters Laboratories in Northbrook, IL

Featuring a high performance 42" LCD, the display system is constructed of heavy gauge aluminum and utilizes an industry standard VESA mounting template. It is available with an optional, built -in Core 2 Duo computer, minimizing cables and installation complexity. For applications requiring an operator interface, a touchscreen option is available.
