eSight Energy, Inc. is dedicated to growing the eSight energy
management suite into a truly dynamic product, and is set to release
the latest version at the end of October.
A key addition to the latest version of eSight will be the new ENERGY
STARŪ integration. eSight’s new module will link directly to existing
accounts in ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager, EPA's building energy
measurement and tracking tool. The module will provide users with the
ability to apply advanced analytics to identify areas for improvement
and with the capability to set automatic notifications for buildings
eligible to apply for the ENERGY STAR.
The new version of eSight will also feature Single Sign On capability.
Using LDAP Queries to synchronize user accounts between eSight and
Microsoft Active Directory, users will be able to quickly and easily
access eSight without the need to login again with another username and
password.
“All of us at eSight Energy are excited about the new version of our
leading Energy Management software in Q4 of this year” said Janie
Jefferies-Freer, President of eSight Energy Inc. “2012.1 builds on the
hugely successful 2011.1 version and includes a number of significant
enhancements and new functionality, including Single Sign-on ability
using Active Directory and the new integration work with EPA's ENERGY
STAR Portfolio Manager tool, which will enable our customers to
automatically and seamlessly obtain ENERGY STAR energy performance
scores for their entire portfolio of buildings on an on-going basis.”
