LonMark International Accepting Nominations for The “Best of the Year” Awards

San Jose, CA.– Sept. 05, 2012– LonMark International, a non-profit international association recognized for the certification, education, and promotion of interoperability standards for control networking today announced it is accepting submissions for The 2012 “Best of the Year” awards program. The organization will be recognizing products, companies, projects, and individuals in the following areas:

• Multi-Vendor Project – a winner will be selected in the following two categories:

-Large Campus Integration will recognize the best medium-to-large single installation
-Small Repeatable Solution will recognize integrators with multiple installations within retail, banking, restaurant chains, etc.

•    Certified Device
•    Infrastructure Product
•    Visionary of the Year

“Every year we continue to be impressed with the level of innovation shown in product development and system integration.” said Barry Haaser, executive director, LonMark International. “The annual LonMark award program gives us an opportunity to recognize the products, companies and individuals that continue to demonstrate superior levels of expertise and innovation with open control networking technology based upon the ISO/IEC 14908 suite of standards.”

Award winners will be featured in the January issue of the LonMark International Magazine and recognized at the LonMark General Meeting at the AHR Expo, January 28-30 2013, Dallas, TX. Companies are encouraged to enter products released or projects completed within the past 12 months.
