Method of functioning:

1.    Downloading data from NPE interface or other external devices using the Modbus, mBus, or other protocols.
2.    Buffering gathered data (with the archiving option).
3.    Making data available for monitoring systems (such as SCADA or other iMod or PLC drivers) in polling form (pull-style) as well as event form (push-style).
