Metering India 2013 to Propagate Smart Metering Technologies - IEEMA

IEEMA’s Metering India 2013 receives overwhelming response from Power sector
 
•      Event witnesses high interest from more than 40 organisations including APCPDCL, BSES, CPRI, CESC, Genus Power, Infosys, L&G, L&T, MSEDCL, NTPC, POWERGRID, Reliance Infra, Secure Meters and Tata Consultancy .
 
New Delhi, September 12, 2012: Indian Electrical and Electronics Manufacturers' Association (IEEMA), India’s nodal agency representing US$25 billion electrical equipment industry in India today announced that it has received an overwhelming response from the metering fraternity for presenting papers at the forthcoming 5th Seminar of Metering India 2013. The event is scheduled to take place on 21st & 22nd February 2013 at New Delhi.
 
Metering India in its first month of seeking companies’ participation, has received over 40 papers from various reputed organisations operating in Electricity Utilities, Networking/IT Solutions providing companies, Technical & Research Institutes and manufacturers of Energy meters. Some of the leading players include APCPDCL, BSES, CPRI, CESC, Genus Power, Infosys, KMCT College, L&G, L&T, MSEDCL, Mansi Research, NTPC, POWERGRID, Reliance Infra, Secure Meters and Tata Consultancy. The association expects over 100 papers for the event and more than 300 delegates attending the event. The last date for submitting of papers is October 31, 2012.
 
Metering India 2013 shall provide an interactive forum on various issues related to energy metering in the country. This initiative is an attempt by IEEMA to provide deeper insights into the topics which are of utmost importance during the current scenario as well as the future into which Indian power sector is poised to take quantum technological leap in the near future.
