Buildings under Control Symposium 2013, October 15 to 16 in Vienna, Austria
Vienna, Austria, September 3rd, 2013 - A top-class panel of experts for
building automation from around the globe will meet at the Buildings
under Control Symposium in Vienna, Austria from October 15 to 16. For
the fourth time host LOYTEC electronics, internationally recognized
manufacturer of innovative building automation solutions, invites
automation specialists, business partners and customers to join this
international convention, which has become a popular platform for
exchange of ideas, technical discussions and networking in the industry.
Red-hot issues will be on the agenda. Especially “Network security in building networks” will attract wide interest. Network security is a sensitive issue, having been discussed at length in the media lately and this has lead to a certain amount of uncertainty from building owners, designers and system integrators. LOYTEC experts will show where exactly risks for the building network’s security are residing and which methods LOYTEC can provide at device level to ensure network security. With proper device configuration, security flaws can be closed, eventual attacks on the network be foiled and building related data be protected.
Another focus will be on the presentation of the new building management system LWEB-900. Dynamic, comprehensive building management systems become mandatory; constant collection, evaluation and visualization of information and data about all processes in the building are required. Only by doing so, the building operator can continuously monitor and optimize the performance of the building. The result is considerate usage of energy resources and maximum energy efficiency of buildings.
Moreover LOYTEC’s revolutionary room automation system L-ROC will be discussed in detail. This system allows for extreme flexibility towards the ever changing requirements of building tenants and users during the long life cycle of a building. Adaptations of floor plans or room layouts to changed needs of the users and the resulting adjustments of the room automation system can be accomplished easily, quickly and economically with L-ROC.
The location of this Buildings under Control Symposium will be Tech Gate Vienna, the Viennese Science and Technology Park, situated directly at the banks of the river Danube, offering a grand panorama view of the city. As the symposium is addressing an international audience the conference language is English. In addition to technical lectures and case studies the accompanying product exhibition will offer practical applications and problem solutions. Detailed information can be found on the LOYTEC website at www.loytec.com/bucs. Online-registration is already open.
“We are looking forward to an interesting convention with experts from

building automation, the way we see it,” Hans-Joerg Schweinzer, LOYTEC
CEO relates.
