International Experts in Building Energy Performance and Modeling to Convene at Berkeley Lab September 17
The Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory is convening expert meetings of two International Energy Agency projects, Annex 58 and Annex 60.
As part of this event, there will be a public series of seminars with
experts from energy policies, building design and energy simulation.
Presentations and discussion will evolve around the intersection of:
policies in Europe and California, and associated needs for performance
characterization during design and operation,
• reliable building energy performance characterisation based on full scale dynamic measurements as conducted within IEA EBC Annex 58,
• new generation computational tools for buildings and community energy systems developed within IEA EBC Annex 60, and
• the impact of occupancy behavior on energy use, as conducted within IEA EBC Annex 66.
Date: Wednesday, September 17, 2014
Location: Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Building 50 Auditorium
Registration: Registration and further information at http://www.iea-annex60.org/meeting-lbnl/
