NEW YORK CITY, N.Y. and GREENFIELD,
Mass., September 29, 2015 /CSRwire/ - On Oct. 13th, the Northeast
Sustainable Energy Association, and the German American Chamber of
Commerce, in collaboration with the German Consulate General in New
York and the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce, is pleased to host “Energy
Efficiency & Green Building Technologies: Made in Germany“ a panel
discussion and networking reception focusing on energy efficiency
solutions and green building technologies made in Germany. Germany has
established itself as an international market leader and innovation
driver in the fields of energy efficiency and green building. The event
will feature a select group of German companies presenting their latest
innovative products, services and solutions. As a platform of knowledge
transfer, the event will bring together experts from Germany and local
US innovators to discuss ways to cooperate. Learn more at: nesea.org/Germanparty
Additionally, on Oct. 6th, join Building Energy Exchange and NESEA for
“Deep in the Built Environment: What to Learn at BuildingEnergy-NYC”, a
primer of the BuildingEnergy NYC conference and trade show on Oct.
15th. This "teaser" session will get you a quick morning taste of the
upcoming full-day BuildingEnergy conference and introduce you to the
growing NESEA community. Learn more at: http://be-exchange.org/events/134
Events culminate October 15th 2015, at the TKP Conference Center in
midtown Manhattan when the Northeast’s oldest community of green
builders, architects, engineers, developers, planners, and more will
gather to present a one-day conference highlighting the cutting edge
and best practices in the NYC high performance building industry. The
conference, BuildingEnergy NYC focuses on the sustainability,
resilience, energy saving and code compliance challenges facing owners
of multifamily, commercial, institutional, and small buildings while
also addressing financing and budget concerns. Learn more at:nesea.org/benyc
The Northeast Sustainable Energy Association (NESEA) is dedicated to
serving both experienced building practitioners, owners, architects,
urban planners, and those that are new to the field. BuildingEnergy NYC
was first launched as a small multifamily building efficiency
conference in December 2012. The event has now expanded as a
multi-disciplinary event to meet the demand of the greater NYC building
& energy community, and create opportunities for unique networking.

NYC is set apart by how it is created. In just two months, 50+
acclaimed volunteer professionals, all members of NESEA, put together
24 sessions that are sure to benefit building practitioners, owners,
and developers at all levels. The challenge of making New York’s
buildings more efficient, sustainable and resilient can only be
overcome by having practitioners from all elements of the building
industry in the same space learning from and connecting to each other -
a whole systems approach. BuildingEnergy NYC attracts exactly the right
kind of professionals to make that happen. Learn more at: nesea.org/benyc
This year, BuildingEnergy NYC is grateful to enjoy the sponsorship of
major utility companies like ConEdison, government organizations such
as the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority, and
non-profit organizations such as the Natural Resource Defense Fund.
About NESEA
Formed in 1974, the mission of the Northeast Sustainable Energy Association (www.NESEA.org)
is to advance the adoption of sustainable energy practices in the built
environment. NESEA does this by connecting professionals to each other
and to information. This organization facilitates collective learning
between all of the professional disciplines that contribute to the
built environment. NESEA serves architects, planners, engineers,
manufacturers, builders and policy analysts in public and private
companies in the 10 Northeastern states.
