As a Service Account Representative, you will be responsible for selling solutions and services to mid-size, large and multi-location customers in local, regional territory. You will be responsible for developing business plans and meeting overall financial objectives. This individual will ensure the achievement of an annual sales plan by utilizing HBS sales strategies and disciplines to capitalize on qualified sales opportunities. Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS) installs and services the systems that help keep buildings and facilities safe, secure, comfortable and cost-efficient. Responsibilities: Sales of Honeywell's product, service and maintenance offerings for HVAC (heating, ventilation, air conditioning), mechanical, energy, fire alarm, digital video and access control systems. Utilize a consultative sales approach to upgrade and enhance the customer's current facility infrastructure. Identifying, targeting, and qualifying new customers to continually increase the base of service customers. Business development through networking, referrals and first calls. Manage a base of existing customers to maintain customer satisfaction as well as develop new opportunities and revenue potential. Develop retrofit opportunities through cost of operations and energy analysis of customers facility; gain commitment to move forward with project based on mutually agreed upon financial payback. Qualifications: Basic Requirements: Bachelors Degree, 3+ years of direct sales experience Additional Requirements: Technical application experience with HVAC, Fire Alarm or Security Systems preferred but not required. Experience dealing with owners and end users required. Ability to develop and execute prospecting and account plans. Technical application experience with HVAC Controls, fire alarm, security, and mechanical systems highly desired. Ability to determine energy savings opportunities in commercial buildings. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong prospecting, qualifying, proposing, negotiating and closing skills. Must have experience cold-calling. Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a background and drug screening investigation Must be able to deliver on annual quota.
