New Legacy to Cloud Tools builds on the power of existing Standards and Protocols.

I cannot sleep, and my mind never stops turning as pieces of the industry whiz by me on my journey to control the flow of information on AutomatedBuildings.com. I now understand that our industry is destined to rise to the Cloud-native technologies of the masses.

Cloud-native technologies empower organizations to build and run scalable applications in modern, dynamic environments such as public, private, and hybrid clouds. Containers, service meshes, microservices, immutable infrastructure, and declarative APIs exemplify this approach.

These techniques enable loosely coupled systems that are resilient, manageable, and observable. Combined with robust automation, they allow engineers to make high-impact changes frequently and predictably with minimal toil.

The Cloud Native Computing Foundation seeks to drive the adoption of this paradigm by fostering and sustaining an ecosystem of open-source, vendor-neutral projects. We democratize state-of-the-art patterns to make these innovations accessible to everyone.

CNCF is the open-source, vendor-neutral hub of cloud-native computing

How will Linux, OBC, IDL, and Siemens’ Building X Platform Propel us to CNCF?

The evolution of new cloud-native silos

We have started planning for AHRExpo Orlando Feb 2025

We are thinking about how to frame this transition.
