Delta Electronics Announced Its Subsidiary Delta Electronics (Netherlands) B.V. and Delta Controls Have Entered into a Definitive Agreement

Taipei, Taiwan, April 29, 2016 – Delta Electronics announced today that its wholly owned subsidiary, Delta Electronics (Netherlands) B.V. (DEN), has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Delta Controls Inc. (Delta Controls), a leader in building automation, at a price of 220 million Canadian Dollars. This transaction is expected to be completed by the end of May, 2016.

Delta Controls’ global market reach includes a strong presence in North America. Combined with Delta Electronics’ sales offices in Asia, particularly China, synergies are expected to develop from integrating core competencies and sales channels. Delta Electronics projects that these synergies will enhance its capabilities in the global building automation marketplace.
