AUTOMATED LOGIC'S WEBCTRL™ IN GENERAL RELEASE

[an error occurred while processing this directive]Atlanta, GA, November 21, 2000 - Automated Logic Corporation is currently shipping its browser-based, remote access building control system, WebCTRL™, offering end users full functionality and flexibility through a standard browser. Providing superior graphics, an intuitive user interface, and ability to run on many different operating systems, WebCTRL is an innovative system that fully embraces web technology. The product will be on display at the Automated Logic booth (#6011) at the International Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigerating Exposition (AHR Expo) in Atlanta, Georgia, January 29 - 31, 2001.

Automated Logic adopted proven open standards, such as BACnet and Java, in developing WebCTRL. This provides a 100% open architecture with the flexibility to access the system from any location, on any device, and in any language - without the need for special software or plug-ins.

Gerry Hull, president and chief executive officer of Automated Logic Corporation, stated, "WebCTRL was developed from the ground up around web technology. This allows for a high degree of flexibility. For example, WebCTRL supports multiple protocols - it can run BACnet, LonWorks and Modbus over the same wire concurrently."

Along with the rollout of WebCTRL, Automated Logic announces the release of its Computer-Based Training (CBT) program, which is included with the product. This comprehensive, interactive, high-quality tutorial is available on CD and, in fitting with the nature of WebCTRL, will be available over the Internet. This CBT eases the training demands on Automated Logic dealers and end users by providing a quick start to the new product and reducing the costs of sending staff on location for instructor led training. Developed in a modular system, the CBT also allows for just-in-time help whereby end users can quickly go to a particular section of the training to receive information on a particular topic.

For over two decades, Automated Logic has been a leader in innovative building control technologies, providing products that are reliable and user-friendly. Automated Logic set the standard in graphical user interface. And now - with open architecture and their pioneering use of native BACnet - defined new levels of operational freedom and flexibility.
