[an error occurred while processing this directive]Weatherproof differential pressure transmitters offer digital displays and ±0.5% accuracy

The Series 616W Differential Pressure Transmitters from Dwyer Instruments, Inc. are now available in an expanded line of 34 models, half of them with LCD readouts for on-site troubleshooting, and covering factory-calibrated ranges down to 0-2" w.c. and up to 0-100 psid. These CE-approved units, which sense the pressure of air or compatible gases with ±0.5% F.S.O. accuracy, are enclosed in weatherproof, polycarbonate cases, rated IP66/NEMA 4X.

Versatility is inherent in the circuit design for these transmitters, allowing for operation in 2, 3, or 4-wire loops. Their 4-20 mA output signal supports simultaneous operation of a variety of devices, such as an analog panel meter, a chart recorder, or process controlling equipment.

Easy to install, these transmitter s have barbed, dual-sized pressure connections to accommodate either 1/8" or 3/16" (3.2 mm or 4.8 mm) I.D. rubber or vinyl tubing. Most models in the series are in stock and ready for shipment.

Dwyer Instruments, Inc. produces a broad range of measuring and control instruments for pressure, temperature, level and flow applications.

Adaptable differential pressure transmitter offers multiple-range flexibility and ±1% FS accuracy

Series 674 Differential Pressure TransmitterThe new Series 674 Differential Pressure Transmitter from Dwyer Instruments, Inc. facilitates quick field selection of up to three direct and three compound pressure ranges for measuring air flow, building or room pressure, duct pressure and filter drop. Eight models, four of them with NEMA 4X (IP56) enclosures and four configured for panel mounting, features non-interactive zero and span adjustment (±15%), temperature compensation, short circuit and reverse polarity protection.

These transmitters accommodate direct and compound ranges as low as 0 to 0.1 and ±0.5 inches of w.c. and as high as 0 to 30 and ±15 inches of w.c., providing accuracy of ±1% FS, stability of less than 1% FS/year, and overpressure protection of 10 psid (0.7 kg/ cm2). The glass-on-silicon capacitance sensor delivers a fully temperature compensated 4-20 mA output signal between 24 and 150°F (-4 to 65°C).

Models for all ranges in this CE-approved series are in stock and ready for shipment.

Sensible design of new duct pressure transmitter cuts installation costs

Series 676 Duct Pressure TransmitterThe cost-efficient inclusion of a pressure sensor and a static pressure tip in the same unit enables the new Series 676 Duct Pressure Transmitter from Dwyer Instruments, Inc. to reduce installation time and eliminate the need for expensive control panels. This CE-approved, multi-range transmitter uses a micro-machined glass-on-silicon capacitance sensor to provide a fully conditioned, highly accurate (± 1% FS) 4-20 mA output signal with a response time of just 60ms. Each of two models covers three field-selectable ranges: respectively, 0 to 5.0, 0 to 2.5 and 0 to 1.25 inches of water column; 0 to 15.0, 0 to 7.5 and 0 to 3.75 inches w.c.

These instruments have NEMA 4 (IP56) enclosure of cold-rolled steel. A gasketed cover protects both electronics and sensing element from condensation, corrosion and dust. Other features include short circuit and reverse polarity protection and a compensated temperature range of 25 to 150°F (-4 to 65°C). Operating temperature range is 0 to 175°F (-18 to 80°C). Non-interactive zero and span are adjustable ±15%. Stability is <1% FS/year.

Tiny process data logger delivers huge amount of input

Series DL8 Process Data LoggerMore input-and more input-per-dollar- is the promise of the ultra-compact Series DL8 Process Data Logger from Dwyer Instruments, Inc. Aggressively priced this versatile data logger has seven external input channels for simultaneously monitoring temperature, relative humidity, pressure, wind speed, current, voltage and power. These input channels easily interface with common transducer and transmitter outputs. An internal thermistor measures ambient temperature. The instrument's memory stores up to 32,768 different readings.

Sampling rates for the DL8 are selectable from eight seconds to as infrequently as once every five days. Accuracy is ± 1% FS. Easy programming uses Windows™ based software and cable, sold separately. Power is provided by a built-in 3.6V lithium battery.

Available in two models, DL8 and DL81, this new data logger is in stock and ready to ship. Model DL8 has one channel each for 0 to 2.5 VDC, 0 to 10 VDC and 0 to 200 mV DC, and two channels each for 0. 5 VDC and 0 to 25 mA DC. Model DL81 features all channels at 0 to 25mA.

Smart air velocity transmitter can also take the pressure

Series PFS Smart Air Velocity TransmitterAble to withstand gas pressures up to 150 psig (10 bar), the CE-approved Series PFS Smart Air Velocity Transmitter from Dwyer Instruments, Inc. measures and transmits mass flow rate of air, nitrogen or other non-combustible gasses with ± 1% accuracy, ± 0.2% repeatability and a response time of 0.1 seconds. Housing for this hardheaded unit is NEMA 4X (IP65) powder-coated cast aluminum.

The transmitter's smart electronics allow for field configuration of flow range and full validation of calibration. The unit's K-Factor correction feature (0.5 to 2) permits compensation for flow profile variations or specific application conditions. Output signal is a linear 4-20mA.

Other features of this instrument include adjustable high and low alarm outputs and adjustable time response. All parameters can be programmed with three pushbuttons or with Windows® 95-based software, sold separately. Available in six models, covering six flow ranges, three models have a built-in display for viewing flow rate and total flow.

All models are in stock and ready for shipment
