Spartan Peripheral Devices, Montreal, supplies control valves with integral linkage kits. The valves and the linkages were made for each other. Where other manufacturers made linkage kits adaptable to all range of valves, Spartan concentrated on control valves and linkage kits for use with actuators by major manufacturers. Designed together from the ground up, the combination provides the best solution and is able to use smaller actuators, therefore being more cost effective. Up to 2" valves can be handled with only 44 in/lbs and up to 3" valves with 88 in/lbs actuators (providing 45 psi close-off and 50% safety factor) and backed by an unqualified guarantee of quality assurance. They also have modified equal percentage to linear flow characteristics for all applications. Also a variable ratio opening, slower to start, faster later, for better modulating control.

We are also pleased to introduce a complete range of unitary control valves featuring its "Power Cube" compact gear motor control valve actuator. This microprocessor based line of direct coupled actuators are available in either custom or industry standard inputs (2-10 vdc, tristate, 0.25 - 5 sec. Pwm). The "Power Cube" offers a simple thumb nut connection to the valve eliminating the need for special installation tools. The mounting is common throughout our unitary control valve line enabling a mix n' match approach to simplify actuator/valve selection.
