Coactive Networks Appoints Eddie Streeter as COO and Ezell Wills as Vice President of Manufacturing

Leader in Commercial and Residential Gateways to Strengthen Operations and Manufacturing With the Addition of Key Executives

SAUSALITO, Calif., -- (May 24, 2000) -- Coactive Networks, the leading provider of gateways for connecting the Internet to all devices in homes and businesses, today announced the appointment of Eddie J. Streeter as chief operating officer and Ezell Wills, Jr. as vice president of manufacturing. Together, these key executives will serve to strengthen the company's overall operations, supply chain management, and manufacturing to reinforce its leadership role in the commercial and residential gateway market.

Reliable Controls Eddie J. Streeter
As COO, Streeter leverages more than 35 years of experience in executive management and has served in a variety of key manufacturing and operations roles. He came to Coactive Networks from Solectron, one of the world's top manufacturing companies, where he was vice president and general manager of systems engineering and services, and later held the position of vice president of strategic programs for the Americas, including the U.S., Mexico and Brazil. During his tenure at Solectron, he was responsible for strategically managing the growth of the systems business and for overseeing operational and financial performance, while strengthening customer and supplier relationships.

Streeter has also held key management positions with E.I Dupont de Nemours and Company in the medical, printing and publishing industries; General Electric Corporation in the computer aided tomography (CAT scanner) arena; and Carrier Corporation in the centrifugal cooling systems market.

Ezell Wills, Jr.
As vice president of manufacturing, Wills brings more than 16 years of experience to Coactive Networks, having specialized in materials, operations and contract management. Prior to joining the company, he served as director of materials at Solectron, and was responsible for demand management, sales and operations, planning, acquisitions, new product introductions, and engineering services.

Wills has also held a number of positions with Applied Materials, where he was director of materials, senior materials manager and senior manufacturing manager. At Applied Materials, he established a strategic centralized supply chain management operation, which generated cost savings in excess of $122 million and inventory reductions of $95 million annually. Wills also developed administrative controls and implemented a full-scale distribution center and demand flow technology lines for several product families. Additionally, he has worked with other companies including Abbott Laboratories and General Dynamics Space Systems.
