The Air Movement and Control Association (AMCA) has verified the air performance of more than 75 percent of Greenheck's combination fire/smoke dampers.

Johnson Controls Names Kevin Pasqua as Vice President, Telecommunications Market Segment

MILWAUKEE - (May 17, 2000) - Johnson Controls, Inc. has named Kevin Pasqua vice president, telecommunications market segment for its Controls business. In this newly created position, Pasqua will lead a global team dedicated to delivering business and financial solutions to customers in the telecommunications industry.  He will also be responsible for developing and implementing worldwide marketing and sales strategies to this market. Pasqua, a resident of Brookfield, Wis., most recently served as vice president of Latin America for Johnson Controls.  He joined the company in 1984 as a sales engineer in Albuquerque, N.M.  He has held service operations, marketing and sales management and general management positions with the company.


International Intelligent Building Congress - Mexico City

Reliable Controls As a CABA member, with an interest in large building automation/controls, we want to alert you to a speaking/marketing opportunity. The International Intelligent Building Congress (IIBC) will take place in Mexico City on August 16-19, 2000. This event is hosted by IMEI (Instituto Mexicano del Edificio Inteligentia) and CABA is pleased to be a supporting organization.

The conference theme will be "Habitat and Technology for the XXI Century." The Congress will offer opportunities for the exchange of ideas around the topics of green buildings, accessible technologies, information appliances, alternative sources of energy, wired and wireless communications and other areas.

A meeting will take place between the organizers and CABA on May 26, 2000, to discuss this event and further collaboration between CABA and IMIE. At this meeting, we will be presenting the names of those companies/people that have already expressed an interest in speaking at IIBC.
