(New Orleans, LA) : AXONN announces that it will launch its new AXESS product family at the Offshore Technology Conference in Houston on May 6th - 9th.

[an error occurred while processing this directive]AXESS offers a completely integrated wireless package, which is cost-effective and easily installed. The rugged AXESS transmitter is battery operated, provides up to a 1-mile range and meets Class I, Div II safety requirements. AXESS interfaces directly to commonly used sensors (4-20 mA, 0/1 - 5VDC, discrete outputs) and transmits the data back to a central receiver gateway.

AXESS is particularly suited to upstream Oil & Gas production facilities where more frequent surveillance of critical production variables can increase production efficiencies while reducing recurring operating expenses by replacing labor-based data collection with automation. AXESS eliminates the need to pull power and signal cables to sensor locations and further reduces capital expenditures by substituting local battery sensor powering and wireless surveillance for traditional, higher-cost wired automation equipment

Bill Strobel, President and CEO of AXONN, said, "We are very excited about launching our AXESS off-the-shelf product line which will provide end-users with the same field-proven radio technology that AXONN currently provides in module form to system integrators". AXONN provides a full suite of spread spectrum radio products for use in applications such as process control, oil and gas production, environmental monitoring, building controls and energy & equipment monitoring.

This statement follows AXONN's recent announcement that building controls system integrator Kele has chosen AXONN wireless technology for its new HVAC Frontier wireless I/O system.
