BACnet driver delivers additional utility to legacy systems

[an error occurred while processing this directive]PRESCOTT, AZ - EnFlex announces the delivery of another important connectivity tool for energy management systems (EMS) with a software driver for BACnet compliant systems and devices. This device driver provides for full two-way communications between BACnet systems, other systems currently supported by EnFlex products, and the Internet or corporate Intranets. The EnFlex BACnet driver along with the EnFlex Lonworks driver, provides users with network access to the two most common protocols in the EMS marketplace.

The BACnet driver provides cost effective access to and from existing systems via one of the most common communications protocols of today. The bi-directional nature of the BACnet driver, allows for the expansion of existing systems with state-of-the-art controllers using established Internet protocols and network management tools.

EnFlex EMS device drivers allow for enterprise monitoring, control, alarming, and management of the EMS via the Internet and private Intranets. With the addition of this driver to its software library, EnFlex provides connectivity to over 250,000 existing legacy EMS and will extend these capabilities to over 80% of existing systems in the coming months.

EnFlex Corp. has been providing connectivity solutions to EMS, generators, meters, and other building systems for over 8 years.
