CSI and CTI Ink Agreement
Partnership to Deliver Control and Wide Area LONWORKSR

Cincinnati, OH: CSI, Inc., Dallas, Texas and CTI Products, Inc., Cincinnati, Ohio announced today that they have entered into a marketing agreement that will bring LONWORKSR-based connectivity to a growing number of customers. The two companies are at the forefront of their respective industries and have developed an excellent working relationship with shared installation expertise over the course of the past several years. “CSI’s building automation controls combined with CTI’s connectivity makes a powerful building automation team,” said David Groen, President of CTI Products.
“A formalized agreement was a logical extension of our relationship and permits us to increase our cooperation in serving the BMS industry,” said Bob Maher, Business Development Manager for CSI.

New Connectivity Device for LONWORKSR
Networks
Frankfurt, Germany: CTI Products, Inc. of Cincinnati, Ohio announced during the Light and Building Show here today the release of the SLM SitelyncTM Network Modem. This new Connectivity Device for LONWORKSR networks is an integrated telecommunications interface to LONWORKSR networks. It is designed to provide maximum connectivity at minimum levels of installation and operation cost. This is a single unit with a unitized power source. It replaces multiple units with differing and non-standard mounting and power requirements. The unit is fully documented, ready to install and use.
The SLM SitelyncTM Network Modem has an automatic answer mode that allows the host computer to dial into remote sites. Further the SLM SitelyncTM Network Modem’s dial-out mode lets remote networks with an alarm condition dial out to a host. An optional feature provides password protection.
The SLM SitelyncTM Network Modem provides Network Interface (NI) or Networks Services Interface (NSI) functionality, plus telecommunications modem capability in an integrated single package.

“This is an exciting new product for us”, said Ron Knollman, Vice President of Engineering for CTI Products. “It will greatly simplify implementation of communications between central and remote sites. The cellular options will allow LONWORKSR systems to be used in many new applications.” The SLM SitelyncTM Network Modem is available with drivers for DOS, Windows 95/98 and Windows NT. It has DIN Rail Mounting and supports FTT, TPT78 and TPT1250 LONWORKSR network transceivers. The SLM SitelyncTM Network Modem is also available as a serial network interface for direct connection or use with serial communications channels.
Elettrodinamica S.p.A. and CTI Products, Inc. Join Forces to Deliver Wide Area LONWORKS Connectivity
Cincinnati, OH: Elettrodinamica S.p.A. of Genoa, Italy and CTI Products, Inc. of Cincinnati, Ohio announced today that they have entered into a marketing agreement that will advance in Italy the adoption of open, interoperable control systems based on LONWORKS technology. Under the terms of the agreement, Elettrodinamica S.p.A. will market routers produced by CTI Products, Inc. through its national channels of distribution in Italy. These Routers, called NCBTM Network Combiners allow networks to communicate over long distances and permit extended functionality.
These exceptionally robust products will form the backbone of open integrated systems incorporating other products from a large number of vendors involved in open systems. In addition, Elettrodinamica S.p.A. and CTI Products, Inc. have agreed to jointly develop marketing programs to increase the specification and adoption of open control systems connectivity in these markets.
