Leveraging the capabilities of the products of both companies allows both new and existing installations of Solidyne products to be Web enabled and connected via the Internet. It also provides EnFlex with access to Solidyne's hardware products to extend the company's product offering. Solidyne's Networked Control and Monitoring Systems are installed in over 40,000 retail, commercial, industrial, and educational facilities Worldwide.

With the addition of the Solidyne connectivity solution to its library of device drivers, EnFlex Corp. addresses a large percentage of the national account market existing systems today.

EnFlex Corp. continues to push the clock forward on legacy systems. Today EnFlex can provide connectivity solutions for over 100 existing legacy energy management systems and will extend these capabilities to over 50% of the existing systems in the coming months. EnFlex drivers connect directly to existing systems to allow for remote control, monitoring, alarming and management of the EMS via the Internet and private Intranets.

The EnFlex software features an open architecture based on the Linux operating system. A versatile application programming interface allows existing enterprise applications to communicate through the EnFlex gateways, and, in turn, with the existing EMS. An embedded scripting language also allows the creation of unique monitoring and control solutions for facility management applications. The system also comes with an easy-to-use graphical user interface with many common facility monitoring and control applications built in.

Solidyne Corporation's Networked Direct Digital Control System is designed and developed to provide totally trouble free operation with a complete range of hardware and software features. Every Controller is a true stand-alone unit with its real time clock, 365-day calendar and on board data logging and programming as a unique peer to peer Network layout. The Controllers are universal and comes with many different sensors and transducers based on the required applications. These controllers are also used for many applications other than BAS applications, such as irrigation, water treatment, process control and many different types of remote monitoring. Many Control and Monitoring tasks can be performed from dynamic graphical pictures including scheduling events a year in advance.
