EBTRON’s Advantage Technology - Booth 3942N

EBTRON’s Advantage technology offers digital network communications at NO ADDITIONAL COST
ModBUS and JCI Metasys network protocols are built-in and field-selectable with all GTN116 model transmitters

Myrtle Beach, SC – EBTRON, Inc., a prominent South Carolina manufacturer of sophisticated electronic airflow sensors for HVAC control, announces the availability of their new model GTN116 networking transmitter with all of their Gold Series sensor products. Users may order the optional GTN models at no additional cost over the GTA models, which offers 2 standard dual analog outputs.

The new model’s communications capability includes an RS-485 serial interface with field-selectable network protocols: ModBUS RTU and Johnson Controls’ N2 for Metasys. These digital-electronic devices provide building controls with a level of functionality, accuracy and reliability never before dreamed available from a commercial airflow sensor. Additional cost Ethernet and LonWorks versions are planned and should be available around the end of the year.

These and other Advantage products will on display at the ASHRAE/ARI AHR Expo and Conference in Chicago, IL, January 27 – 29, 2003, Booth #3942N.

EBTRON Advantage Eclipses All Commercial HVAC Airflow Measurement Technologies
Dramatically Enhanced Product Lines will be on Display at ASHRAE’s AHR Expo Booth #3942N in Chicago, 1 / 27-29 / 2003

Myrtle Beach, SC – EBTRON, Inc., a prominent South Carolina manufacturer of sophisticated electronic airflow sensors for HVAC control, announces their participation in the annual Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Expo and that the company will display new models for their Advantage product lines.

The Advantage products will on display at the ASHRAE/ARI AHR Expo and Conference, Chicago, IL, January 27 – 29, 2003, Booth #3942N. These digital-electronic devices provide building controls with a level of functionality, accuracy and reliability never before dreamed available from a commercial airflow sensor.

EBTRON has packed a large number of significant features in the new Gold Series designs, including many never before available to users of airflow control instrumentation, including: • Factory calibrated to NIST-traceable airflow and temperature standards • Sensor accuracy +/- 2% of Reading for airflow and +/- 0.15 o F for temperature • Permanently calibrated at the factory: no drift, no maintenance, no adjustments, no field set-up normally required • Optional at no additional cost is a RS-485 Serial interface with field-selectable network protocols: ModBUS RTU and Johnson Controls’ N2 for MetaSys [GTN models]. • Separate and at additional cost, Ethernet and LonWorks versions are planned and may be available around the end of the year [GTE and GTL models]. • Field-selectable, field-scalable and user-adjustable analog outputs, for both airflow and temperature are standard [GTA models].
