Imagine you could send a text message to your SCADA system... Imagine you could send a text message such as "Water level tank 1" to your SCADA system... and within a few seconds you could get a reply - "Water level tank 1 - 12 feet"...

Imagine you could send a text message such as "Turn main chiller ON" to your SCADA system and within a few seconds your main chiller will be turned on? How much time could be saved? No need to travel to the site. No need to call anyone. No need for a remote computer or Internet connection! You may be at home or on vacation, but only one text message away from your critical plant floor information!
All you need is your cell phone, a cellular modem and the U.C.ME-OPC software that is connected to any SCADA application (via OPC or DDE) or OPC/DDE server. This will enable you to control your site remotely.
Utilizing the cellular modem (GSM or CDMA), you may also receive alarm messages directly to your cell phone. No need for a phone line or Internet connection. Alarms are sent to you within 3-5 seconds. Using your cell phone you may also acknowledge alarms. Alarm acknowledgement may be used to create escalation procedures. If the alarm is not acknowledged within few minutes, the alarm message will be sent to the next recipient on the list.
Escalation procedures can be customized to ensure alerts are delivered to alternative recipients. Remote alarm acknowledgement prevents unnecessary repeat alarm notifications – reducing nuisance alarms and reducing costs.

This real-time information is sent directly to your cell phone, pager or email so you can take rapid action, and is also stored in a database for offline analysis.
More features:
* Multiple OPC-server connectivity
* Easy alarm import from your SCADA
* Runs as a Microsoft® Windows® service
U.C.ME-OPC™ Overview
U.C.ME-OPC™ is alarm notification software that combines a number of advanced features for the most efficient and secure automation control solution on the market today – and the only one that offers alarm snapshots via the web or cell phone.
Alarms can be sent in a number of ways:
Users can respond instantly to alarms via phone or SMS text messaging. Predefined SMS templates stored in the users' cell phones can be used to change set-points, query field values, suspend or resume alarm notification and more.
U.C.ME-OPC™ analyses the critical parameter data of an alarm, compares the values with the desired range, and marks the parameters that don't comply. This real-time information is sent directly to your cell phone, pager or email so you can take rapid action, and is also stored in a database for offline analysis.
The U.C.ME-OPC™ Snapshot Server is a web-enabler and cellular-enabler real-time system capable of handling data acquisition, data monitoring and data analysis. It is designed to improve the productivity of manufacturing plants by converting plant floor data into critical business and operational information, making it available to you via cell phone or web browser, exactly when you need it. |
