February 8, 2010  Final preparations are underway for the 3rd Annual World Meter Design Congress, which will take place in little under one month from March 7-9 in San Diego, California. With one month to go, there has already been a phenomenal response from utility meter design professionals worldwide, with more than double last year’s number of pre-registered attendees and a sold out exhibit hall. In 2010, the World Meter Design Congress will be co-located with America’s premium utility metering conference, Metering, Billing/MDM America and expects to attract over 700 utility metering professionals together.

The World Meter Design Congress is the only meeting place for the world's meter design engineers, system architects, R&D engineers and production professionals to gain insights into the new requirements and opportunities shaping the design and development of next-generation metering system.
PROGRAM The technical program includes specific focus areas on AMI and meter design requirements to enable international AMI rollouts; new systems architecture; utilities’ future requirements; the latest component technologies; design for the 'smart customer'; HAN technologies and green appliances, and much more.

Our attendees will have the benefit of attending both, the Metering, Billing/MDM America keynote address as well as the internationally represented plenary address of the World Meter Design Congress, including Dr Philip E.
