Join controls veteran Steve Calabrese has he presents
various retrofit and BAS optimization strategies, targeting what can be done in
existing buildings that have building automation systems but which are in need
of retrocommissioning and/or equipment/system upgrades (with some special focus
on government and federal buildings).
Discussion will include:
Demand-based strategies (demand-controlled
ventilation, demand limiting)
Time-based strategies (optimal start)
Other control strategies designed to increase efficiencies and reduce operating
costs (reset control, economizer)
Retrofit strategies with a focus on energy savings and overall systems
optimization, including VFD retrofits and metering strategies
