(DENT Instruments, Bend, OR) – DENT Instruments, a
global leader in the design and manufacture of power and energy measurement
instruments, announced the introduction of a new, small profile "Mini" Hinged
Current Transformer (CT). The "Minis" are ideal where space is limited, such as
when metering multiple electrical loads within a panel board.

Christopher Dent, President of DENT Instruments said, “The 50A Mini CTs are
great for submetering applications. They are a smaller, lower-cost alternative
to a traditional 50A split-core. The "door-style" hinge design is significantly
more robust than what is found on competitive devices.”
The Mini CTs produce a millivolt output for use with DENT Instruments'
PRO-Series data loggers, and are also compatible with the PowerScout Series of
instruments. The Mini CTs have a 0.4" (10mm) window and provide high accuracy
over a wide, dynamic range.
DENT Instruments is a leading supplier of an array of precision measurement
instrumentation and analytical software in the field of energy management.
