The
University of Wisconsin-Madison, Department of Engineering Professional
Development, will offer the short course, DDC Controls, February
28-March 4, 2011 in Las Vegas, and June 13-17, 2011 in Madison WI. This
intensive, practical course is designed to expand the knowledge of
direct digital control systems for control of building HVAC processes.
This course will enable attendees to define requirements for a DDC
system to serve HVAC and related building systems; describe hardware
and software elements that make up a DDC system; develop a DDC
architectural master plan; describe the pros and cons of LonWorks and
