LACEY, Washington—January 4, 2011 — Engineered Software, Inc. announced a new webinar to provide an overview of process measurement and controlling of industrial piping systems. The Process Measurement and Control Webinar targets engineers, operators and maintenance technicians and awards two professional development credit hours to attendees. The first course is scheduled for January 27th, 2011 at 10 AM Pacific Time.

The two-hour session will cover the various instruments used to measure pressure, flow, temperature, and other analytical parameters in a process control loop. The webinar will also outline key principles for tuning the control loop thereby lowering operating and maintenance costs. The Process Measurement and Control webinar is the second web-based offering from Engineered Software since its Centrifugal Pump webinar was introduced in 2010 with great success.

"Today’s process systems require total optimization and efficiency," said Ray Hardee, P.E., Chief Engineer at Engineered Software, Inc. “Often, there is little budget or time available to send staff to an on-location training course and that is why our webinars are perfect. All the benefits with few of the typical costs associated with industrial training.”

Registrants will receive an email confirmation 48 hours prior to the webinar date with a web link, dial-in number for audio and instructions for participating in the training. A copy of the presentation is available to attendees as well as an opportunity to connect with the speaker during a question and answer session.

Engineered Software offers five additional courses, including a webinar covering centrifugal pump basics. For a full list of courses offered visit www.eng-software.com/products/pstraining
