Most significantly, this $56 million
energy saving performance contract will add cogeneration equipment that
will provide 11 MW of electric generation and 100,000 lbs/hr of steam
generation at one facility. The other facility is designed to receive
upgrades that will provide for another 300,000 lbs/hr of new more
efficient steam generating capacity. Implementation of all the planned
energy conservation measures at the two central utility plants is
expected to provide the university $6.5 million in average annual
energy savings.[Home Page] [The Automator] [About] [Subscribe ] [Contact Us]
