Wi-Fi Alliance Qualifies TÜVRheinland® As an Authorized Test Laboratory for the Wi-Fi CERTIFIED™ 802.11n Draft 2.0 Program

NEWTOWN, CT/June 26, 2007 — TÜVRheinland®, the world leader in independent testing and certification services, has been qualified by the Wi-Fi Alliance as an Authorized Test Laboratory (ATL). With this qualification, TÜVRheinland can conduct tests of wireless products for the Wi-Fi CERTIFIED™ 802.11n draft 2.0 program, launched today.

TÜVRheinland has facilities in Silicon Valley (www.us.tuv.com) and Yokohama, Japan (www.tuv.com/jp/en) that can perform testing for the more than 300 members of the Wi-Fi Alliance, a global, non-profit industry association that promotes the growth of wireless Local Area Networks. TÜVRheinland’s one-stop testing facilities test all types of wireless devices including laptops, wireless routers and switches, PDAs, VoIP telephones, printers, computers, game stations and computer accessories.
