[Brossard, QC, July 21, 2015] - Distech

announced today that the company’s ECLYPSE Connected System Controller
has been selected by The ACHR News’ Dealer Design Awards as the Bronze
Award Winner. This prestigious program was established to honor
excellence in HVACR product design and showcases innovative products
that can be most conveniently installed, maintained and serviced.
The ECLYPSE Connected System Controller is a modular, scalable platform
providing BACnet/IP, wired and wireless IP connectivity. Consisting of
a control automation and connectivity server, power supplies and I/O
modules, the type and number of modules can be selected to meet
exacting requirements. When embedded with ENVYSION, Distech Controls’
web-based visualization interface, key information can be accessed from
anywhere, at any time, and on any device, ensuring a timely response
and improved overall satisfaction.
Products were judged by a panel of independent HVACR contractors
selected by the editorial staff of The ACHR News. Four criteria were
used to evaluate each entry: ease of installation/use, maintenance,
application/repair, and competitive advantage. Emphasis was placed on
submitting multimedia documents with the application, providing judges
with a 360° view of product design elements, which can be viewed here.
