Project-Haystack has become the leading solution for making data-self describing so that it can be easily used across applications. Today over 650 people from around the world have joined the Project-Haystack forum and the tagging libraries and open source contributions continue to grow. Many of the major communications standards are committed to including semantic tagging in next generation protocols and have voiced their intention to support Haystack.

The bi-annual Haystack Connect event (May 18-20) brings the community together to discuss Haystack topics and provides a unique opportunity to network with others that are addressing the challenge of integrating systems and data to improve facility operations. Beyond topics specifically related to Haystack, you will have the opportunity to see the very latest technology for intelligent buildings, remote monitoring and IoT applications. Many new products will be seen for the first time at the event.

We consider Haystack Connect to be one of the most important conferences we sponsor and support. We will be making important announcements at the event related to SkyFoundry and SkySpark, and new tools to support the community. We hope you will join us an encourage you to register soon. The venue is spectacular, but also limited in capacity — the event will sell out — so don’t delay in registering.

And remember this is a community-driven event — you have the opportunity to share your insight and expertise by submitting a paper for the technical sessions. You can see some of the topics that have already been accepted here: http://project-haystack.org/forum/topic/253

Complete information on Haystack Connect, including registration, and instructions for submitting a paper for the technical sessions can be found on the HaystackConnect website

We hope too see you there!
