New offerings mean LED luminaire
manufacturers have more options to create out-of-the-box wirelessly
connected LED lighting products for commercial, retail and industrial
customers
LOS ALTOS, Calif.--March 30,
2016--Daintree Networks®, the leader in open networked wireless
control, sensing and Enterprise Internet of Things™ solutions for smart
buildings, and LG Innotek, a leading global materials and components
manufacturer, today announced they are building on their partnership,
originally announced just over a year ago, and delivering more joint
solutions that enable out-of-the-box wirelessly connected LED
luminaires. Over the next few months, LG Innotek will be rolling out
several new products that support Daintree Networks®
ControlScope® open networked wireless control solution.
Between April and June 2016, LG Innotek will release a Wireless
Interface Module, a 30W programmable LED driver, and a 55W programmable
LED driver all with embedded open-standard ZigBee® connectivity. These
products will work seamlessly with Daintree Networks' open-standard
ControlScope control solution and are highly attractive to luminaire
manufacturers looking for a simple and low-cost route to add wireless
connectivity and control.
New LG Innotek Products
Wireless Interface Module (WIM)
The WIM has an integrated AC-DC supply for stand-alone operation and an
applied AC relay to control the AC main 'on' and 'off.' The embedded
antenna provides easy installation and low cost. The flexible platform
accommodates diverse protocols, such as the ZigBee standard. LG
Innotek's WIM is an example the company's commitment to increase
adoption and help enable the growing embedded wireless market.
30W/55W New Programmable Flat (Linear) LED-Driver with Zigbee Dongle
The compact size of the new programmable LED Drivers allows
manufacturers to easily add wireless connectivity. With a programmable
output current and 0-10V dimming and 1% dimmable capabilities, LG
Innotek customers have the flexibility to create their own unique
offerings. By adding the optional wireless ZigBee connectivity,
the company can provide a low cost, wireless solution.
