The Circon Systems Access Point Controller provides facility professionals with an access control solution that can be integrated into facilities using a wide variety of LONMARK certified products from different companies.
San Jose, CA – LONMARK International announced that the Access Point Controller (APC-300) from Circon Systems is the first product to be certified using Version 3.4 of the LONMARK Interoperability Guidelines. The LONMARK Certified Access Point Controller provides facility professionals with a scalable and interoperable access control solution that can be connected to a network of LONMARK certified products from a variety of different vendors. The LONMARK open architecture allows seamless connectivity between devices and subsystems such as access control, lighting, sun blinds, generators, heating/ventilation/air conditioning, safety and more.
Facilities using LONMARK certified products benefit from a future proof solution that can be built onto existing legacy systems or expand existing open systems. Facility professionals prefer using LONMARK certified products because they deliver the freedom of choice for best-of-breed product selection, competitive bidding by multiple vendors and reduce maintenance costs.
The LONMARK Interoperability Guidelines provide manufacturers with details on how to design open, interoperable products based on the LONWORKS® networking platform. Nearly 700 products have been tested and certified as compliant to the LONMARK Interoperability Guidelines. Products that have been verified to conform to the LONMARK interoperability guidelines are eligible to carry the LONMARK logo.
